Dating
in student life
In my survey, my partner-Li He and
I found Singaporean’s ideas towards dating are very mature and dating is very common in Singapore
student life.
We chose this topic because we, as
students, are curious about this topic so we want to explore whether there are some the difference of the opinions on dating.
We designed a survey to collect information
from Singaporeans. We interviewed many kinds of people in different places: NIE, MRT, hostel, shopping centers. Our respondents
are from different ages, jobs, races. We analyzed the results we've got. We created a chart, a column and a table to help
us sort information.
In my survey, the different concepts
on dating are obvious: compared to Chinese students, Singaporeans are more open to dating in student life and most of them
have this experience. Many of our respondents don’t think dating will affect their study. In fact, they think it’s
an emotional support and dating helps students manage themselves better.
